How Kids Can Make Healthy Decisions
Recently, I went to the Smoothie King located at 10th St. and Northside Dr. where I interviewed Carla Saintil, the manager, about healthy snack choices. She showed me around and let me interview her. She was very nice and gave me great answers. I’m going to tell you some of the healthy habits kids can start following.
One of the unhealthiest habits people do is to skip the nutrition facts. Based on my research, 50% of the people that visit Smoothie King read the health facts. 50% of the people actually read and care about what they put in there bodies. The other 50% of the people are lucky that almost everything at Smoothie King is healthy.
Another thing more people could do to make healthier decisions is to include fruits and vegetables in their snacks. People could also ask about and eliminate the amount of ice cream in their smoothie.
According to my research, a lot of people like to have the Carribean Way. This is a good thing because the Carribean Way contains strawberries, bananas, and everyone’s favorite papaya. These are some of the ways that people can make healthier decisions.
