Gilbert Pizza Party

Friday, January 29, 2010 is the Pizza Day at Gilbert Elementary School. Jessica, one of the Tiger Town News broadcasters, was chosen by Mrs. Dawn to be a KidReporter for Gilbert Elementary School. The KidReporter program held amembership contest in December 2009 and challenged KidReporters across the U.S. to see which reporter could get the most new members to join the "Kidz Connexion". Jessica spurred the students on to victory and won a pizza party for the entire school.

About the Kidz Connexion - according to Jessica - this is really a cool website that gives students from across the country an opportunity to report on events in their area. There is no cost to join and they will not pass on your information to others. Anyone can join.
